Among the myriad fine-dining restaurants in the capital, not many offer real forests' archetypal experience in an informal setting that promises great mediterranean cuisine with superb service. Lodi –The Garden Restaurant borrows serenity from the adjacent Lodi Gardens: a peaceful heritage park -a must visit for both travelers & locals. 

The restaurant has an 180 Cover casual dining that is both Indoor, Semi-open & #Al Fresco European Cuisine with minimal Asian and Middle-Eastern infusions. Its house specials are: Pate Masion, Salate Horiatiki, Herb-crusted Manali Trout, Andaman Prawns and Chocolate Mousse. 

Emphasis is on fresh seasonal produce and in-house grown organic fruits, vegetables & herbs 16 tap wine by the glass machine, whiskies, spirits, liqueurs, beers, cocktails & mocktails Weekly Specials, Catch of The Day, Dessert of The Day, Weekend Breakfasts, Sunday Brunches, a happy hour bar floor with Private Gatherings:TDH & Banquet Menus. 

The dining menu features a wide variety of dishes along with our House Specials. The Paté Maison, Salate Horiatiki, Herb-crusted #Manali Trout and #Andaman Jheenga are some examples of the dishes that guests are most fond of. The special Lodi #Chocolate Mousse is the most popular dessert and is done to perfection.

The bar stocks fine wines: a wide range of new world whites, classic merlots, popular sparklers (Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon) as well as dessert and rose wines. For scotch connoisseurs, single malts like Dalwhinnie, Talisker and the Johnnie Walker as well Glen ranges are available. Our wide range of beers, liqueurs, vodkas and cocktails tempt the tightest of tee-totallers. The Lodi also serves seasonal drinks like mulled wine during winter and coolers & smoothies during summers. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices are offered subject to seasonal availability.


From sitting under the trees high-up in the terrace during sun-set experiencing the roosting of different species of birds found in Lodhi Gardens, to sitting inside in the comforts of an indoor space, guests may enjoy varying experiences with the changing of the seasons. The earthy & organic sensibility of #Lodi – The Garden Restaurant is highlighted by its lush botanical surrounding, pebbled walkways, cane & wooden furniture and bamboo railings.The emphasis has been to blend all additional construction, furniture and other elements augmenting the décor into the natural setting of the restaurant, which is an extension of Lodhi Gardens itself. The Lodi has seating that is split between the Atrium, the Bar Floor, the Terrace, the Garden Area and the Ground Floor.

Guests will find little alcoves hidden in corners all over the Lodi. From small private dining spaces away from the general seating areas to small smoking spaces under trees overlooking murals painted on the restaurant walls by famed Indian artist M. Sivanesan, different guests tend to have their own favorite spaces they prefer to come back to. 

Whether during an early morning weekend breakfast or an evening tea during the week, few guests tend not to take a stroll before, after or sometimes even during meals to experience the serenity of the natural setting of the Lodi. It is not an uncommon sight to have peacocks from neighboring Lodhi Gardens walking the pathways of the restaurant. 

Guests visiting the Lodi may also take advantage of its central location and spend their day walking around neighboring sites like the National Bonsai Museum, #India Islamic Center and #Lodhi Gardens which is spread over 90 acres and is home to architectural marvels of the 15th century such as the Bara Gumbad from the times of the #Sayyid’s and Lodi’s, a #Pathan dynasty which ruled much of Northern India during the 16th century. 

The layout of the property is designed in a manner to cater to numerous gatherings simultaneously, with a bar both in the garden and the top. The Garden Area has a variety of trees including the Jamun & Peepal tree, some more than 100 years old, and is the place of choice with all guests, especially during the spring, winter and monsoon seasons. Lounge beds in the garden area, water bodies, white veils, marble tables – all designed with an inspiration to create an oasis in the middle of a bustling city like New Delhi.
